WOw. I just read all of yours letters and i´m so proud of my family right now. All of you are doing so much. The last thing i just finished reading was about what happened with patches. I haven´t even met the kitty but when i read that i was actually worried. I´m so glad that you all got such an answer to your prayers. As for dad and mom i´ll let you know if i find any missionaries that need a little help. Mom said that apparently i have a zone meeting this wednesday... haha i guess they should be telling me that soon. But yeah we´re going to be having a zone conference and in about 4 weeks my companion or i will leave this area. THis week i got to go on exchanges and i worked in another area called MOrichal and it´s really unusally because we´re having exchanges again this week. Apparently the district leader is coming to my area and will work with me for two days. Other then that things have been interesting. Dad was saying it seems like we have found a lot of investigators, which is pretty true, but... we haven´t found many that seem to ready. As of now we´re doing to 1 or 2 families that are still interested. So we need to really get out there and find more. But one of the families is awesome! The mom has walked 2 times to church with us and with her two tiny kids its about 40 mins each way! The husband is great too but he just started a new job where he has to work on sundays. We´re trying to help them get married so they can be baptised but right now their goal is in december... so it´ll probably not be here. It´s been so interesting this week. Its funny how when we walk around town there are a whole bunch of people that know us. Sometimes people try to talk to me in english but it´s been so odd, it´s really difficult for me to talk normally in english. I can type more or less normally but when it comes to talking i get all stumbled up and say weird phrases. Something my branch president said in the mtc was interesting. He said that maybe that would happen to us because we werent called to preach in english, but in spanish.
Hey well this week i re-read the notes i haven from conference and would suggest for all of you to do the same. it´s really been great. Well i dont want to bore you but wow the week goes by so fast i´m not really sure what to share. I guess i was just thinking about how fast everything goes and hearing about the things you guys get to do at home i just wanted to ask you all the enjoy it. You´re the ones who taught me how to do it but i guess now i´ll just remind you if you´ve forgotten. Hah. Enjoy the little things you get to do. Every time you get to spend some time together. I know you guys do though so no problems.
As for today i think we´re going to go to a center to try to print some photos and see what´s up. Today has been a little slow because everyone is on ´holiday´ supposidly because today is the celebration of the discovery of america or something. Things are different here. Well i guess to finish ill share something that this old lady in the ward shared with us. Just that we Actually need to prepare ourselves today for the second coming. The question that often makes me really think is. if you know the second coming were to come tomorrow, would you be ready right now? I like how i think Holland said in conference that we need people with an ACTIVE commitment to this church and the jesus christ. This is really something i want to put into action once i get back from my mission especially, is to remember that this gospel is REAL. It kindof blows my mind when i try to think of who i was before this world and what i must have been thinking. But i thought that all of us must have been begging ourselves to remember. Remember what we were coming here to do, and to act upon it. I can´t really express all of my thoughts but what you´ve all taught me shows me that you´re really trying to do this and i give you all thanks for that. Well family, you mean the world to me. Thanks for always showing me how much you care. Have a great week!
Elder Jake Stucki.
